Birmingham Edgbaston (UK Parliament constituency)

Birmingham, Edgbaston is a constituency in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1997 by Gisela Stuart MP of the Labour Party. Its best-known MP internationally was Neville Chamberlain, and since 1953 it has been represented only by women MPs. Since 1992 it has been a marginal constituency between the Labour Party and the Conservative Party.

Highbury, Birmingham

Highbury, also known as Highbury Hall, now a Grade II* listed building, was commissioned as his Birmingham residence by Joseph Chamberlain in 1878, two years after he became Member of Parliament for Birmingham. It received its name from the Highbury area of London, where Chamberlain lived as a child. The architect was John Henry Chamberlain (no relation) who incorporated much terracotta decoration. Joseph Chamberlain lived in Highbury from 1880 until his death in 1914.

College of Art, Balsall Heath

The College of Art on Moseley Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, England was built as the first municipal branch School of Art in Birmingham. The College of Art in Balsall Heath subsequently became known as Moseley Secondary School of Art which was closed by the City of Birmingham Education Committee in 1975. The Moseley School of Art Association was established in 2002 as a forum for past students and teachers. It was designed by W. H. Bidlake in 1899 and opened in 1900.
