Nine Elms is a district of London, situated in the far north-eastern corner of the London Borough of Wandsworth between Battersea and Vauxhall. It is primarily an industrial area, dominated by Battersea Power Station, railway lines, a major Royal Mail sorting office and the New Covent Garden Market. Also in the area is the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Dolphin Square
Dolphin Square is a block of private apartments and business complex built near the River Thames at Pimlico in London, between 1935 and 1937. At one time, the huge development was home to more than 70 MPs, and at least 10 Lords. At the time of their construction the development was billed, according to Sir Nikolaus Pevsner as the "largest self-contained block of flats in Europe" and, to an extent, their design has been a model for later municipal developments.

It is financed by voluntary donations with an income of almost £12.2 million in 2010. Battersea Park Road railway station
Battersea Park Road railway station was a station in Battersea, South London opened by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway in 1867. It closed in 1916 along with a number of inner-London stations on Main Line. Battersea Park railway station, a very nearby station on a different line out of London Victoria, remains open. Today there is no evidence of the station. The bricked up entrance can be seen under the existing rail bridge close by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
