Greatstone Dunes railway station

Greatstone Dunes railway station was a station on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway in Kent, England. Opened on 24 May 1928, and bearing the attractive name 'Greatstone Dunes' this station served little obvious purpose, particularly as it was located only 1.3 miles south of the station at New Romney.

Lydd Town F.C

Lydd Town F.C. are an English association football club based in Lydd, Kent. The club formed in 1885, playing locally until they entered the Kent County Football League in 1959. The club's most successful period came in 1989–94 when they won the league in five successive seasons. Despite falling down the Kent County League system in the 2000s, the club were successful in their application to join the Kent Invicta Football League for its inaugural 2011–12 season.

Denge

Denge is a former Royal Air Force site near Dungeness, in Kent, England. It is best known for the early experimental acoustic mirrors which remain there. The acoustic mirrors, known colloquially as 'listening ears', at Denge are located between Greatstone-on-Sea and Lydd airfield, on the banks of a now disused gravel pit. The mirrors were built in the late 1920s and early 1930s as an experimental early warning system for incoming aircraft, developed by Dr William Sansome Tucker.
