Hadley, Shropshire

Hadley is a part of the new town of Telford in the borough of Telford and Wrekin and ceremonial county of Shropshire, England. It lies approximately 3 miles north-west of Telford Town Centre, and forms part of the civil parish of Hadley and Leegomery (previously known as simply "Hadley"). It neighbours Wellington, a market town also part of Telford, and that town's two colleges of Telford College of Arts and Technology (TCAT) and New College (NC), all to the west of Hadley.

Wellington Rural District (Shropshire)

Wellington was a rural district in Shropshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 based on the Wellington rural sanitary district. In 1934, under a County Review Order, it took in the disbanded Newport Rural District. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, and went on to form part of the Wrekin district.
