For the village in Monmouthshire, see Redwick, Newport Redwick is a village in South Gloucestershire, England. It is part of the parish of Pilning and Severn Beach. It is approximately enclosed by the River Severn to the north, The Chessell Pill Rhine to the east, the south meets the village of Pilning at the end of Redwick Road (by the Cross hands Public House) and the western edge finishes inline with mainlne of the railway prior to its entry to the Severn Tunnel.

A403 road
The A403 is a road in the United Kingdom that starts at junction 1 of the M48 at Aust and leads to Avonmouth in Bristol. It is important as a major route for the industries there, allowing easy travel access to Wales and South and East England. The A403 was opened in about 1970 after the Severn Bridge was opened in 1966, to provide a direct route between the then M4 motorway and Avonmouth. It was initially known as the Avonmouth Aust Coast Road.

Severn Tunnel
The Severn Tunnel is a railway tunnel in the United Kingdom, linking South Gloucestershire in the west of England to Monmouthshire in south Wales under the estuary of the River Severn. The tunnel was built by the Great Western Railway (GWR) between 1873 and 1886. It is 4 miles 624 yd (7,008 m) long, although only 2¼ miles (3.62 km) of the tunnel are under the river.

The Second Severn Crossing (Welsh: Ail Groesfan Hafren) is the M4 motorway bridge over the River Severn between England and Wales, inaugurated on 5 June 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales to augment the traffic capacity of the original Severn Bridge built in 1966. The bridge marks the lower limit of the River Severn and the start of the Severn Estuary.
