Hardwick, County Durham

Hardwick is a housing estate in Stockton-on-Tees. Situated around North Tees Hospital, it is one of Stockton's largest housing estates, with just under 7,000 residents. In September 2003, 200 houses on the estate were earmarked for demolition which as of May 2012 is now complete, with a new number of buildings now built in their place.

Little Stainton

Little Stainton is a village in the borough of Darlington and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated a few miles west of Stockton-on-Tees. It is, in fact, a hamlet rather than a village, consisting of houses and farms that have no local service facilities except for a public telephone kiosk and bus stop. Until around 1960, it consisted of a group of individual farms, to which was added a set of four council houses with agricultural dwelling restrictions.
