Rimington railway station

Rimington railway station was a railway station that served the small village of Rimington in Lancashire. It was built by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. It was closed in July 1958, some four years prior to the withdrawal of passenger trains over the route.

Skirden Beck

Skirden Beck is a minor river in Lancashire. Formerly, the Beck was in the county of Yorkshire. The Beck is formed at the confluence of New Gill Beck and Grunsagill Beck and flows southward, being joined by Monubent Beck (at Forest Becks near Skirden), Bier Beck, Kirk Beck and finally Holden Beck. Skirden Beck falls into the River Ribble near Briery Bank Wood.

Pendle Water

Pendle Water is a minor river in Lancashire. Rising on Pendle Hill, Pendle Water cuts a deep valley between Barley Moor and Spence Hill, where it feeds the two Ogden Reservoirs, before making its way eastward through Roughlee, collecting Blacko Water, draining the valley near Wheathead, at Water Meetings - 1 mile west of Blacko, then moving south by Higherford and Barrowford, where it is joined by Colne Water.
