Selling railway station

Selling railway station serves the village of Selling in Kent, England. The station is 55+⁄4 miles south east of London Victoria on the Chatham Main Line towards Dover Priory. The station is served and operated by Southeastern. The station and the line it serves were built by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway. Formerly an excellent example of country station architecture, it was mysteriously destroyed by fire in the early 1990s, shortly before it was to be awarded listed building status.

A299 road

The A299, better known as the Thanet Way, is a major road in the county of Kent, England, and runs from Brenley Corner near Faversham (where it merges into the M2) to Ramsgate via Whitstable and Herne Bay. It is predominantly used for freight traffic to Ramsgate Harbour and local traffic to Thanet, and is 22 miles long. It also provides access to Manston Airport.

Faversham Town F.C

Faversham Town F.C. are a football club based in Faversham, Kent, England. They joined the Kent League in 1949 and won the title in 1970, 1971 and 1990. In 2003 they resigned from the league with 8 games left to play, but rejoined in 2006. They are known locally as the "Lilywhites" (because they play in white) or "Sorters" (as they play at Salters Lane).

Faversham railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in north Kent, and serves the town of Faversham, 52 miles (84 km) from London Victoria and 49 miles (78 km) from London St Pancras. Train services are provided by Southeastern.

Chilham railway station

Chilham railway station serves the area around the village of Chilham in Kent, England, including Chilham itself, Shottenden, Old Wives Lees, Selling and Bagham. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Southeastern. The station was opened by the South Eastern Railway (SER) on 1 December 1846, and is on the SER Ashford to Margate line. The platforms are connected by a concrete footbridge - a typical product of the Southern Railway concrete factory at Exmouth Junction.
