South Northamptonshire

South Northamptonshire is a district in Northamptonshire, England. Its council is based in the town of Towcester, first established as a settlement in Roman Britain. The largest town in the district is Brackley, which has a population of 14,000 in 2008 followed by Towcester which has a population of nearly 10,000. Other significant settlements in size include Deanshanger, Bugbrooke, Roade, King's Sutton, Silverstone and Middleton Cheney.

Weston Hall

Weston Hall is the Sitwell family house in Northamptonshire. The house is situated in the village of Weston in the south of the county. It was the home of Sir Sacheverell Sitwell and his Canadian wife, Georgia Doble, from 1927 until his death in 1988. It was here that he wrote many of his 130 books on travel, art, music and poetry. The house was given to Sitwell's ancestor Susanna Jennens in 1714 as a St.

Silverstone Circuit

Silverstone Circuit is an English motor racing circuit next to the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. The circuit straddles the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border, with the current main circuit entry on the Buckinghamshire side. The Northamptonshire towns of Towcester (5 miles) and Brackley (7 miles) and Buckinghamshire town of Buckingham (6 miles) are close by, and the nearest large towns are Northampton and Milton Keynes.
