Warleggan

Warleggan is a civil parish on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The parish is roughly oblong in shape with hamlets near the church and at Mount. The River Warleggan, a tributary of the River Fowey, runs through the parish, forming its western boundary in places. The population in was 203 in the 2001 census.

Colliford Lake

Colliford Lake is a reservoir on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Covering more than 900 acres, it is the second largest lake in Cornwall, after The Loe. It is situated south of the A30 trunk road near the village of Bolventor, the approximate centre of the lake being at OS grid reference SX179730. Dozmary Pool outfallis into the lake and the lake's own outfall forms one of the tributaries of the River Fowey.

Bodmin Airfield

Bodmin Airfield is located 3.5 NM northeast of Bodmin, Cornwall, England, UK. Bodmin Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P633) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Cornwall Flying Club Limited). The aerodrome is not licensed for night use and runway 03/21 is no longer licensed. Radio equipped microlights can use Bodmin (radio contact preferred). All aircraft are strictly Prior Permission Required.

Bodmin Moor

Bodmin Moor is a granite moorland in northeastern Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 208 square kilometres in size, and dates from the Carboniferous period of geological history. Bodmin Moor is one of five granite plutons in Cornwall that make up part of the Cornubian batholith. The name 'Bodmin Moor' is relatively recent, being an Ordnance Survey invention of 1813. It was formerly known as Fowey Moor after the River Fowey which rises within it.

Dozmary Pool

Dozmary Pool is a small lake on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, UK situated 16.9 km/10.5 mi from the sea. It lies about 15 km northeast of Bodmin and 2 km south of Bolventor: it originated in the post-glacial period. The outflow from the pool is into Colliford Lake and is therefore one of the sources of the River Fowey.
