Grass Wood, Wharfedale
Grass Wood is an ancient woodland of 88 hectares in Wharfedale, North Yorkshire, England, that has an exceptional ground flora of woodland wildflowers. The area was notified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1955 for upland broadleaved woodland. The site is also listed in A Nature Conservation Review under the entry for "Conistone Old Pasture and Bastow Wood". The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust completed the purchase of the site in 1983 and manages it as a nature reserve.

Swinden Quarry railway station is a railway siding for use at the Swinden Quarry near the village of Cracoe. The siding is on the old Skipton to Grassington Line built by the Yorkshire Dales Railway.

Conistone is a small village (population 117 in the 2001 census) in North Yorkshire, England. It lies 3 miles north of Grassington, beside the River Wharfe, in Upper Wharfedale. The village is set in characteristic limestone scenery, including Mossdale Caverns, the dry gorge of Conistone Dib and the limestone outcrop of Conistone Pie. Above the Dib a Dalesway path connects Kettlewell, to its north, and Grassington, to its south, providing distant views over the Wharfedale.
