Clough River
The Clough River is a river in Northern England. The river rises at Grisedale in south-eastern Cumbria, where a group of smaller streams draining Grisedale Pike converge as Grisedale Beck. The young Clough River then goes through a short valley (Grisedale, "The Dale That Died"), and over a waterfall before being named Clough at Clough Farm, Garsdale Head, where it enters Garsdale, a valley formed by the river between East Baugh Fell (to the north) and Rise Hill (south).

Dentdale
Dentdale is a dale or valley in the north west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Cumbria, England. The dale is the valley of the River Dee, but takes its name from the village of Dent. The Dent Fault cuts across the valley close to the village of Gawthrop, marking a geological boundary between the Carboniferous Limestone of Deepdale and the Craven Dales to the south and the older Silurian and Ordovician rocks of the Howgill Fells to the north.
