Welford-on-Avon
Welford-on-Avon is a village of around 1,800 inhabitants situated some 4 miles west-south-west of the town of Stratford-upon-Avon in the county of Warwickshire, England. Until 1931, Welford-on-Avon was in Gloucestershire (as part of the Rural District of Marston Sicca), when it was transferred to Stratford-on-Avon Rural District. Since 1974 it has been part of the District of Stratford-on-Avon. The village sits within a bend of the River Avon, on the south bank.

Stratford on Avon and Broadway Railway
The Stratford on Avon and Broadway Railway project (SBR) was an English railway project which aimed to re-open the closed railway line from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire to Honeybourne railway station, Worcestershire for main-line connection. A later extension was planned to Broadway, Worcestershire where the line could link up with the proposed northern extension of the Gloucs-Warks Heritage Railway. The railway operated at the former Long Marston Ministry of Defence depot.

Shakespeare County Raceway
Located near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, England, Shakespeare County Raceway became a permanent drag racing facility in 1980 when it was known as 'Long Marston Raceway', although drag racing events had occurred on the Long Marston Airfield site sporadically since the early 1970s. The track later became known as 'Avon Park Raceway' before settling on its current name. It is generally considered to be Britain's 'second' dragstrip after Santa Pod Raceway.
