Silecroft railway station
Silecroft Railway Station serves the village of Silecroft in Cumbria, England. The railway station is a request stop on the scenic Cumbrian Coast Line 19 miles north east of Barrow-in-Furness. Some through trains to the Furness Line stop here. It is operated by Northern Rail, which provides all the passenger train services.

Silecroft
The village of Silecroft in Cumbria is in the parish of Whicham. It is situated between the towns of Millom and Bootle, and also neighbours the towns/villages of Haverigg, Kirksanton and Whitbeck. Black Combe, a hill near Silecroft, takes two hours to climb, with views on clear days of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and if you look down, England, a visit could be extended to cover White Combe, a neighbouring fell. The main route is from Whicham church, which has a small car park.

River Annas
The River Annas is a minor river in Cumbria in northwest England. It is formed as the Kinmont Beck and Crookley Beck which drain the southwestern fells of the Lake District, meet on the eastern edge of the village of Bootle. Their combined waters flow southwest towards Annaside on the Irish Sea coast. However longshore drift has diverted the river northwestwards parallel to the shore for a further 2km so that it enters the sea at Selker.

Kirksanton is a village on the A5093 road, in Copeland Borough, in the county of Cumbria. Nearby settlements include the town of Millom and the villages of Silecroft and Whicham. In April 2009, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Ed Miliband included Kirksanton in a list of eleven potential new nuclear power plants.
