Burridge

Burridge is a small village in the Borough of Fareham, in the south of Hampshire, England. It lies approximately 14 miles south of Winchester on the A3051 between Botley and Park Gate, to the north of Sarisbury and to the west of Whiteley. It was formerly known as Caiger's Green.

Swanwick railway station

Swanwick railway station is a railway station serving Park Gate, Locks Heath, Whiteley and Swanwick, in the borough of Fareham, in Hampshire, England. Despite the name, the station is actually in Park Gate and not Swanwick (which is one mile north of the station). The station opened on 2 September 1889, and was specially built for the local strawberry industry. For a short time each year, it was one of the busiest stations in the country.

South Hampshire

South Hampshire or Solent City is a term used mainly to refer to the metropolitan area formed by the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton and their suburbs and commuter towns, in southern Hampshire, England. The area had population of around 1 million based on the 2001 census, and estimated population of over 1.5 million in 2013.

Knowle Hospital

The Hampshire County Lunatic Asylum, later Knowle Mental Hospital and Knowle Hospital, was a psychiatric hospital in the village of Knowle near the town of Fareham in Hampshire, southern England, opened in 1852 and closed in 1996.

The Henry Cort Community College

The Henry Cort Community College, formerly Fareham Park Senior School, is a mixed sex comprehensive school in Fareham, Hampshire. The school has specialist Sports College status. It is one of three comprehensive schools in Fareham, and had around 850 students at the last count. It has a rich sporting tradition, especially in field hockey, and has adequate sports facilities, including an astroturf pitch and a gym. The school is named after the iron pioneer, Henry Cort.
