Wymeswold is a village and civil parish in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire, England. It is in the north of Leicestershire, and north-east of Loughborough. The village has a population of about 1,000. It is close to Prestwold and Burton on the Wolds in Leicestershire, and the Nottinghamshire villages of Rempstone and Willoughby on the Wolds.

Thorpe in the Glebe
Thorpe in the Glebe was a village in Nottinghamshire to the south of Wysall on the Leicestershire border. It was sometimes called Thorpe in the Clottes. Tradition has it that the village was destroyed either at the Battle of Willoughby Field or alternatively by a hail-storm. It is now the home of Nottinghamshire's largest alpaca farm.

Burton on the Wolds is a village situated on the B676 road 3 miles west of the A46 in Leicestershire and has a population of around 800. The Parish Council of Burton on the Wolds, Cotes and Prestwold serves the village and its two neighbouring hamlets. The local borough council is Charnwood. Burton has its own primary school, pub and shop (in the garage), with most of the village life centreing at the pub, The Greyhound, and village hall, and the village is famous for its Lion's Head fountain.
