Errigal Ciarán GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association Gaelic football club founded in 1990 when the four parts of the Errigal Ciaran parish; Ballygawley, Glencull, Garvaghey, and Altamuskin all joined together to unite as one club. in the town of Ballygawley, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. From 1928 until 1982, the parish of Ballygawley was represented by Ballygawley St. Ciaran’s, until a dispute arose within the parish, separating certain sections of the community.

Altamuskin

Altamuskin or Altamooskan (Irish: Allt a' Mhúscáin, meaning "Glen of the spongy ground") is a small village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the historic barony of Clogher and the civil parish of Errigal Keerogue and covers an area of 1165 acres. In the 2001 Census Altamuskin had a population of 75 people (24 houses). Altmore

Altmore is a hamlet and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is five miles from Carrickmore and four miles from Pomeroy. The townland is actually called Altmore (alias Barracktown) and is situated in the historic barony of Dungannon Middle and the civil parish of Pomeroy and covers an area of 1117 acres. Most of the community consists of farmers who make their livelihood in cattle and pig farming.

Sixmilecross

Sixmilecross is a small village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Its toponym is said to be derived from a Celtic cross that stood in a field at the top of the village and also from its distance of six Irish miles from Omagh. The original Irish name for Sixmilecross is 'Na Corracha Mora' meaning the round hills. Sixmilecross is one of the few villages in County Tyrone that lost all connect with its Irish root name.
