Loch Etive
Loch Etive is a 30 km sea loch in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It reaches the sea at Connel, 5 km north of Oban. It measures 31.6 km (19¾ miles) long and from 1.2 km (3/4 mile) to 1.6 km wide. Its depths vary greatly to 600 foot (200m) The name Etive is believed to mean little ugly one from the Gaelic Goddess associated with the loch. It heads east for half its length alongside the main road and rail link to Oban, before heading northeast into mountainous terrain.

Beinn Sgulaird
Beinn Sgulaird is a Scottish mountain located between Glen Creran and Glen Etive in the southern highlands. It has a height of 937 m (3074 ft) and is classed as a Munro. Its Gaelic name means "hat shaped hill", though it is more colloquially known to local shepherds as "the bastard". The mountain takes the form of a long ridge which runs from southwest to northeast, three kilometres of which lie above 800 m.

Ben Cruachan
Ben Cruachan is a 1126 m mountain that is the highest point in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It gives its name to the Cruachan Dam, a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station located in a cavern inside the mountain, Cruachan! is the Battle cry for Highland clans Campbell and MacIntyre. It is the high point of a ring of mountains, known as the Cruachan Horseshoe, that surrounds the power station reservoir. The horseshoe includes a further Munro, a Corbett, and several subsidiary summits.
