Dryburgh (Dundee district)

For the Borders village see Dryburgh. Dryburgh is the name of a district of Dundee, Scotland, home to The View. The band featured locations throughout the area in their video for their 2006 track Superstar Tradesman. The Dryburgh estate has been used for the band's 2007 videos for Skag Trendy and The Don. These videos also feature areas of Lochee near Dryburgh, in particular 'Davies' cafe in Lochee high street.

Tayside Children's Hospital is a children's hospital in Dundee, Scotland, and is attached to Ninewells Hospital. It serves children, age from birth up until their fourteenth birthday, who live in Dundee, Angus, Perth and Kinross and north east Fife and, as such, it was so named after a region rather than a city to reflect the wide area that it covers.

Lawside Academy

Lawside Academy was a state secondary school in Dundee, Scotland. It was a denominational school within the Catholic religious tradition, although it welcomed students from all religious backgrounds. It had a unique claim in that it was the northernmost state Catholic school in Europe. Lawside's successor, St. Paul's Academy, now holds that place. Lawside closed in June 2008, 101 years after it opened.
