Ballylesson

Ballylesson (from Irish: Baile na Leasán, meaning "townland of the small ringforts") is a small village and townland in County Down, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 108 people. The village lies within the Lagan Valley Regional Park and the Lisburn City Council area.

Lagan Valley

Lagan Valley is an area of Northern Ireland between Belfast and Lisburn. The Lagan is a famous river that flows into Belfast Lough. For a section, the river forms part of the border between the counties of Antrim and Down. It has a number of interesting features including a towpath which runs alongside the River Lagan. The towpath is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists, dog owners etc. It is a very scenic and peaceful area and is ideal for walking, cycling etc.

Giant's Ring

The Giant's Ring is a henge monument at Ballynahatty, near Shaw's Bridge, Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was originally preserved by Viscount Dungannon. The site is a State Care Historic Monument and has ASAI (Area of Significant Archaeological Interest) status.

Drumbeg

Drumbeg Northern Ireland is a small village, townland and civil parish on the south bank of the River Lagan in County Down, Northern Ireland. The village is covered by the Lisburn City Council area and forms part of the suburban fringe of Belfast. The civil parish of Drumbeg covers areas of County Antrim as well as County Down.

Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

The Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park is a park in South Belfast, Northern Ireland, covering almost 130 acres and is accessible from the Upper Malone Road. It includes meadows, woodland, riverside fields, formal Rose gardens, a walled garden and a Japanese garden, as well as a children's playground, coffee shop, an orienteering course and many walks. It is owned and maintained by Belfast City Council's Parks and Amenities Section.
