Duntocher

Duntocher is a village in Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Although it is a far older settlement and still considered a village in its own right, it is administratively part of nearby Clydebank along with the neighbouring village of Hardgate and is now part of the West Dunbartonshire local authority area. The village expanded due to housebuilding by Clydebank town council after the Second World War, and later by the Wimpey firm in the late 1960s and early 1970s on what had been green belt land.

Hardgate

Hardgate is a village in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Hardgate has probably been settled since neolithic times with a burial site at Knappers Farm, a cup and ring marked stone and a Burial chamber near Cochno Loch providing evidence of this. Although it is a far older settlement, it is administratively part of nearby Clydebank along with the neighbouring village of Duntocher and now lies in the West Dunbartonshire local authority area.

Auchentoshan distillery

Auchentoshan distillery (pronounced Aw-khen-tosh-an) is a Single Malt whisky distillery in the west of Scotland. The name Auchentoshan is Gaelic and translates as "the corner of the field". The distillery is also known as "Glasgow's Malt Whisky" due to its close proximity to Glasgow and "the breakfast whisky" due to its sweet and delicate nature. Auchentoshan is located at the foot of the Kilpatrick hills on the outskirts of Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire near the Erskine Bridge.

Faifley

Faifley is a large council estate forming part of the town of Clydebank, Scotland, adjoining the former village of Hardgate, with a population of approximately 5,000. Faifley has recently undergone much urban regeneration with many of the older housing removed, re-built or renovated. Faifley has two schools each with a corresponding church; Edinbarnet Primary (Non-Denominational) with the White Church and St Josephs Primary(Roman Catholic) with St Josephs church.
