Torphichen

Torphichen is a small village located near Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland. The placename may be Gaelic in origin, e.g. , "Tóir Féichín" (the boundary/sanctuary of St Féichín), Tor Fithichean (Hill of the Ravens) or British, e.g. , modern Welsh "tref fechan" (little town). Westfield, West Lothian

Westfield (Scottish Gaelic: an t-Achadh Siar) is a small village of around 180 houses located in the parish of Torphichen in West Lothian, Scotland. The village was focused for many decades on a local paper mill that closed in the 1990s. Much of the housing in the village was or is owned by West Lothian Council but there have been recurrent plans for major new private housebuilding since the 1970s, as yet unfulfilled. The village has a primary school and post office/shop.

St Mary's Academy, Bathgate

St. Mary's Academy, Bathgate was a former Roman Catholic High School located in the Eastern part of Bathgate, West Lothian in Scotland. It was a state funded High School that educated young adults mainly from the areas of Bathgate, Armadale, Linlithgow, Polbeth, West Calder, Addiewell and parts of Livingston. The School Motto was 'Animo et Fide' which translates from Latin as Courageously and Faithfully. The School was located on Edinburgh Road, Bathgate.

Linlithgow Academy
