District of Carmarthen

Carmarthen was one of six local government districts of the county of Dyfed, west Wales, from 1974 to 1996. National Botanic Garden of Wales

The National Botanic Garden of Wales (NBGW) is situated near Llanarthney in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Ysgol y Gwendraeth

Ysgol Y Gwendraeth is an age 11 years - 18 years secondary school or comprehensive school in the heart of the Gwendraeth Valley, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The school is situated in the village of Drefach and has 312 pupils (2012). The current headteacher is Mrs Anna Williams. The school promotes the Welsh language, Welsh history and Welsh culture. Some subjects are available to be taught in the Welsh language if requested, otherwise the lessons are taught in the English language only.
