Deganwy

Deganwy (Middle Welsh Degannwy, Brythonic *Decantouion) is a village in Conwy County Borough in Wales with a population of 3,700. It is in a more English-speaking region of north Wales, with only 1 in 4 residents speaking Welsh as a first language. It is located south of Llandudno and to the east of Conwy, which is on the opposite side of the River Conwy, and with which it forms the Conwy community.

River Conwy

The River Conwy is a river in north Wales. From its source to its discharge in Conwy Bay it is a little over 27 miles long. "Conwy" is sometimes Anglicized as "Conway. " It rises on the Migneint moor where a number of small streams flow into Llyn Conwy, then flows in a generally northern direction, being joined by the tributaries of the rivers Machno and Lledr before reaching Betws-y-Coed, where it is also joined by the River Llugwy.

Llanrhos

Llanrhos (also called Eglwys Rhos) is a village to the east and south of Llandudno in the Conwy County Borough, Wales. The Llanrhos parish traditionally includes Deganwy, the Craig-y-Don district of Llandudno, the Little Orme and Penrhyn Bay. The Church in Wales parish church is dedicated to St. Hilary and is in the diocese of St Asaph.

Deganwy railway station

Deganwy railway station serves the small town of Deganwy, Wales, and is located on the branch line from Llandudno Junction to Llandudno. There are hourly through services on weekdays to Manchester Piccadilly via Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Flint, Shotton, Chester and Warrington and also trains via the Conwy Valley Line to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Trains call only on request.

Aberconwy (UK Parliament constituency)

Aberconwy is a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The seat was created by the Welsh Boundary Commission for the 2010 general election, and replaced the old north Wales seat of Conwy. The same boundaries were used for the Aberconwy Welsh Assembly constituency in the 2007 Welsh Assembly election.
