Llanddew

Llanddew is a small village within the civil parish of Llanddewi Ystradenny, about 2 miles from Brecon, Powys, Wales. Its manor belongs to the bishops of Saint David's, who had formerly a castellated mansion or bishops palace there, of which some ruins still remain and incorporate a double-sided vaulted well, known as Bishop Gower’s Well.

Priory Church in Wales School

Priory Church in Wales School is a Medium Sized Primary School in Brecon, Wales, with around 130 pupils. Its musical reputation is esteemed,{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=citation |separator=, |ref=harv |postscript= }} having recently sung as part of a musical in St David's Hall, Cardiff, as well as many performances in Brecon Cathedral. Priory was founded in the late 19th Century, but it was not until the 1960s the school was called Priory School. Previously it had been Pendre.

Afon Ysgir

The Afon Ysgir is a short river which rises on the southern slopes of Mynydd Epynt in Powys, Wales. The tributaries known as Ysgir Fawr and Ysgir Fechan flow past the hamlets of Pont Rhyd-y-berry and Merthyr Cynog to combine at Pont-faen and continue past the village of Battle to join the River Usk at Aberyscir. Its upper reaches are within the military training area of SENTA, the British Army's Sennybridge Training Area.

Afon Honddu (Powys)

The Afon Honddu is a river in the county of Powys, mid Wales. It rises on Mynydd Epynt and flows southwards to join the River Usk at Brecon. The river has no major tributaries but acquires numerous streams during its 11-mile course. The valley of the Honddu is followed by the B4520 road which runs north from Brecon to Builth Wells. The road serves the hamlets of Upper Chapel, Lower Chapel, Pwllgloyw and Llandefaelog each of which, Pwllgloyw apart, sit at bridging points of the Honddu.
