Llangammarch Wells

Llangammarch Wells or simply Llangammarch is a village in the parish of Llangammarch in Powys, within the historic boundaries of Brecknockshire, mid Wales, lying on the River Irfon. It is the smallest of the four spa villages of mid-Wales, alongside Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells. The spa was focused on a barium well, which is now closed, but the village is still popular with anglers. The old village is centred around the parish church of St Cammarch.

Garth, Powys

Garth is a village in Powys, mid Wales. It lies on the A483 road between Builth Wells and Beulah at the point where the B4519 joins it from the south. The River Irfon flows to the south of the village. Garth is served by a station on the Heart of Wales Line.

Dulas, Irfon

Dulas is a left-bank tributary of the Afon Irfon, itself a tributary of the River Wye. It rises on the southeastern slopes of the Elenydd and runs southeast to join the Irfon at Garth. The river is bridged by both the B4358 and the A483 roads.

Garth (Powys) railway station serves the village of Garth, Powys, Wales. The railway station is located at street level at the end of the Llais yr Afon lane near the village centre. The station is known as Garth (Powys) in order to differentiate it from Garth (Bridgend). All trains serving the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales. There are four trains a day in each direction from Monday to Saturday, and two services on Sundays.
