Hay St Marys F.C

Hay St Marys F.C. are a football club based in Hay-on-Wye. They are currently playing in the Mid Wales South League. The home colours are green and white striped shirts with green shorts and white socks. The club plays its home games at 'Forest Road'. The ground boasts two newly built high quality pitches, one with full floodlights and the other with training lights. Both pitches each have permanent dugouts, stands to accommodate the numerous loyal fans and have railings on all four sides.

Hay-on-Wye railway station

Hay was a railway station serving the town of Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales. Hay had one of the earliest railway stations in the country, being part of a horse-drawn tramway.

Afon Llynfi (Wye)

The Afon Llynfi is a short river in the county of Powys, south Wales. A tributary of the River Wye, it runs approximately south to north just to the west of the Black Mountains and partly within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The river rises as a small stream to the west of the village of Bwlch and flows north for 2 miles into Llangorse Lake.

Twmpa

Twmpa or Lord Hereford's Knob is a mountain in south-east Wales, forming a part of the great northwest scarp of the Black Mountains. It lies 3 km west of the border with England, and around 7 km south of Hay-on-Wye. To the northeast lies the Gospel Pass through which runs a minor road between Hay and the Llanthony Valley. A ridge known as Darren Lwyd tapers away for about 3km to the southeast of the summit.
