Westbourne House School Penarth

Westbourne School is a small coeducational independent day school, nursery and prep school for children between the ages of 3 and 18 located in the holiday resort town of Penarth, in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales 5.2 miles (8.4 kilometres) south west from the Welsh capital city of Cardiff. Traditionally the school was strictly boys only. However in the mid 1980s the decision was taken to also accept girls and become a coeducational school. There are currently 162 pupils on roll.

Dingle Road railway station is a railway station in the town of Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is on the Penarth branch of the Vale of Glamorgan Line 4 miles south of Cardiff Central on the way to Penarth. The line through the station is on a steep gradient, which has caused more than a few of Arriva's Class 142 and Class 143 to fail or struggle on the ascent, particularly if the train is running on a single engine instead of the normal two.

Penarth

Penarth is a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, 5.2 miles (8.4 km) south west from the city centre of the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and lying on the north shore of the Severn Estuary at the southern end of Cardiff Bay. Penarth is the wealthiest seaside resort in the Cardiff Urban Area, and the second largest town in the Vale of Glamorgan, next only to the administrative centre of Barry.
