B4574 road

The B4574 is a road linking the villages of Pont-rhyd-y-groes in Ceredigion, Wales, and Devil's Bridge, 12 miles east of Aberystwyth and noted for three bridges built one above each other as well as for its world-famous falls and narrow gauge steam railway. Although barely six miles long, the route has been described by the AA as one of the ten most scenic drives in the world. Running partly along a section of the upper Ystwyth valley, the route takes in often wild and beautiful scenery.

Pen y Garn

Pen y Garn is one of the highest mountains in the Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales standing at 610 metres above sea level. Pen y Garn tops a 500–600 m high plateau situated on which is the controversial Cefn Coch wind farm. The summit contains a very large shelter cairn hollowed out from the remains of an ancient burial cairn. The summit also has a trig point. The wind turbines are very near the summit.

Llan Ddu Fawr

Llan Ddu Fawr or Waen Claerddu is one of the highest summits in Ceredigion, Wales, at 593 metres . It is located about 10 miles south of Plynlimon. The surrounding land can be very boggy. There is a trig point at the summit.
