Argo is a town in Jefferson and St. Clair Counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. At the 2010 census the population was 4,071. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 12.3 square miles, of which, 12.2 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles of it (0.81%) is water.
