Cullman County, Alabama

Cullman County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. Its name is in honor of Colonel John G. Cullmann. As of the 2010 census, the population was 80,406. Its county seat is the town of the same name, Cullman, Alabama. It is a "moist" county in terms of availability of alcoholic beverages, which means that the cities of Cullman and Hanceville are wet and the rest of the county is dry. Cullman is served by TV stations and FM radio stations from both Huntsville and Birmingham.

WYDE-FM

WYDE-FM (101.1 FM, "Superstation 101 WYDE") is a radio station that serves Birmingham and nearly all of north-central Alabama. The station is licensed to Cullman, Alabama. Because of the location of the station's broadcast tower and its strong signal, WYDE-FM serves the Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Gadsden and Florence markets as well.
