WZZX

WZZX is a radio station licensed to serve Lineville, Alabama. The station is owned by Williams Communications Inc. It airs a Classic Country music format. The station was assigned the WZZX call letters by the Federal Communications Commission. Previously the call sign "WZZX" was assigned to a 6KW Class A FM station licensed to Jeffersontown, Kentucky, serving the Louisville market. With the slogan "Album Rock In Stereo" it was one of the last independent free-form album rock formats.
