Douglas High School (Alabama)

Douglas High School is a public high school located in Douglas, Alabama. The school was not affected historically by desegregation efforts within Alabama during the 1960s. By the Fall of 1970, following stringent desegregation efforts throughout the state, the school's total enrollment of 448 numbered no Negro students and there were no Negro teachers on its 23-member faculty. Currently, the school educates about 530 students in grades 9 – 12 in the Marshall County School System.
