Space Shuttle Pathfinder

The Space Shuttle Orbiter Pathfinder is a Space Shuttle test simulator made of steel and wood. Constructed by NASA in 1977 as an unnamed facilities test article, it was purchased in the early 1980s by a Japanese organization which had it refurbished, named it, and placed it on display in Tokyo. The mockup was later returned to the United States and placed on permanent display at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, in May 1988.

Cummings Research Park

Cummings Research Park, located primarily in the city of Huntsville, Alabama is the second largest research park in the United States, and the fourth largest in the world. The Research Triangle Park in North Carolina is the only research park in the United States that is larger. Cummings Research Park is a member of the Association of University Research Parks. Madison Square Mall

Madison Square Mall is Huntsville, Alabama's largest enclosed shopping center, encompassing over 929,993 sq ft . It is also now the oldest extant enclosed shopping mall in the city. Anchored by JCPenney, Dillard's Clearance Center, Sears, and Belk, the mall is located on the corner of University Dr. (U.S. 72) and Research Park Blvd. Madison Square Mall opened on August 1, 1984 with anchors JCPenney, Parisian, Castner Knott, Pizitz, and a Sears which had relocated from Heart of Huntsville Mall.
