Clement C. Clay Bridge

The Clement C. Clay Bridge (CC Clay or Whitesburg Bridge) are two bridges that span the Tennessee River just south of Huntsville in northern part of the U.S. State of Alabama. Both bridges are cantilever truss types. The original bridge span was built in 1931 replacing Whites Ferry which crossed the river at nearby Ditto's Landing. The second span was constructed in 1965. Upon completion, the newer span carried southbound traffic while the original span carried northbound traffic.

Huntsville Speedway

Huntsville Speedway is a quarter-mile (.402 km) oval race track in Huntsville, Alabama. It opened in 1959 as a dirt track, and was paved in 1962. It held one NASCAR Grand National Series (now Sprint Cup) event in 1962, won by Richard Petty. Today the track hosts weekly racing with a variety of stock car and modified classes.

Madison County Nature Trail

The Madison County Nature Trail is located on Green Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama. It was established by the Madison County Commission in 1975 under the leadership of County Commission Chairman James Record who arranged for the land to be donated to Madison County. The park features a replica historic covered bridge, a walking trail 1.5 miles in length, chapel, pavilion, picnic area, and a handicapped accessible area with a Braille trail.

Lily Flagg

Signal's Lily Flagg 31035 (1884–?), also spelled Flag, was a Jersey cow, the top butter producer in the world in 1892, owned by W. E. Matthews and General Samuel H. Moore of Huntsville, Alabama. During her record-breaking year, she weighed 950 pounds (430 kg) and produced 1047 pounds, ¾ oz (474.932 kg) of butter. Her parents were sire Georgian 6073 and dam Little Nan 15895.
