Naukati Bay, Alaska

Naukati Bay is a census designated place (CDP) in the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area of the Unorganized Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska. The population was 135 at the 2000 census. Also known as Naukati or Naukati West, the community lies approximately 30 miles north of Craig and 20 miles southwest of Coffman Cove on Prince of Wales Island, within the Unorganized Borough. Naukati Bay Subdivision East and West are located on the east side of Tuxekan Passage in Naukati Bay.

Kosciusko Island

Kosciusko Island is an island in the Alexander Archipelago of southeastern Alaska, USA. It lies near the northwest corner of Prince of Wales Island, just across the El Capitan Passage from the larger island. Kosciusko Island has a land area of 171.585 sq mi (444.403 km²), making it the 38th largest island in the United States. It had a population of 52 persons as of the 2000 census, mostly in Edna Bay, its largest community. Kosciusko Island was named in 1879 by W.H.

Heceta Island

Heceta Island (pronounced HECK–ah–Ta) is an island in the Alexander Archipelago of southeastern Alaska, United States. It lies just off the west coast of Prince of Wales Island. Kosciusko Island lies to its north, while Tuxekan Island lies to its northeast. Directly to its south are the Maurelle Islands group, while further south are Noyes Island, Lulu Island, and San Fernando Island. The island's area is 181.0 km² (69.88 sq mi). The island was given its name by W. H.
