The Klehini River is a large, glacially fed stream in the vicinity of Haines in the U.S. state of Alaska. The Klehini River is approximately 36 miles long (58 km) from its source in British Columbia to its mouth at the Chilkat River, of which it is the largest tributary.

Tsirku River
The Tsirku River is a glacially-fed stream located in Southeast Alaska near the town of Haines. The river's source is found at Tsirku Glacier, a large, sprawling ice mass at the border of Alaska and British Columbia, and ends in a massive four mile wide delta near the Tlingit village of Klukwan. While many of the feeding glaciers are primarily located in British Columbia and Canada, the river itself is completely in the United States.

Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve
The Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve is a state park and wildlife refuge in the U.S. state of Alaska near Haines. Established in 1982, the park covers 49,320 acres (199.6 km²), mainly along the Chilkat River, with sections along the Klehini and Tsirku rivers. The preserve is home to the world's largest concentration of bald eagles. 200 to 400 birds live there year-round, with up to 4,000 observed during the annual Fall Congregation.

Takshanuk Mountains
The Takshanuk Mountains are a mountain range in Southeast Alaska, United States that separate the Chilkoot and Chilkat watersheds and also form the northern portion of the Chilkat Peninsula. Notable peaks include Mount Ripinski, Peak 3920, and Tukgahgo Mountain. Primary access to the mountains is via the community of Haines or the Haines Highway.
