Harshaw, Arizona
Harshaw is a ghost town in Santa Cruz County in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Arizona. The town was settled in the 1870s, in what was then the Arizona Territory. Founded as a mining community, Harshaw is named after the cattleman-turned-prospector David Tecumseh Harshaw, who first successfully located silver in the area.

Patagonia is a town in Santa Cruz County, Arizona, United States. As of 2010 Patagonia had a population of 913. Patagonia was formerly a supply center for nearby mines and ranches. It is a tourist destination, retirement community and arts and crafts center. The Nature Conservancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve is adjacent to the town. Native Seeds/SEARCH maintains a farm for growing out and preserving seed of endangered crops in the area.

The Sonoita AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in southeast Arizona, south of the city of Tucson. The Sonoita area is a basin surrounded by three mountain ranges, the Huachuca Mountains, the Santa Rita Mountains, and the Whetstone Mountains. The vineyard plantings are 4,500 to 5,000 feet (to m) above sea level, some of the highest in North America. The soil is alluvial fans of gravelly loam that retains scarce water well.
