Sedona, Arizona

Sedona is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2010 census the population was 10,031. Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations, the Red Rocks of Sedona. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun.

Sedona Airport is a small non-towered airport located two miles (3 km) southwest of the central business district of Sedona, a city in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The airport covers 220 acres and has one runway and one helipad. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Sedona Airport is assigned SEZ by the FAA and SDX by the IATA.

Chapel of the Holy Cross

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic chapel built into the mesas of Sedona, Arizona, which was inspired and commissioned by sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude. Richard Hein was chosen as project architect, and the design was executed by architect August K. Strotz, both from the firm of Anshen & Allen. The chapel is built on Coconino National Forest land; the late Senator Barry Goldwater assisted Staude in obtaining a special-use permit.

KAZM is a radio station broadcasting a mixed format consisting of news, sports, variety talk, classic rock and oldies music, the Wolfman Jack show, and Coast to Coast AM at night. Licensed to Sedona, Arizona, USA. The station is currently owned by Tabback Broadcasting Co. and features programming from Fox News Radio, ESPN Radio and CBS Radio. In 2013, KAZM will add NBC Sports Radio to its list of affiliations, and carry the Erik Kuselias show on weekday evenings.
