The Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the southern Nevada region of the United States. It comprises the Counties of Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, Nye, White Pine and is governed from the City of Las Vegas. The Bishop of Las Vegas has his liturgical and canonical seat (cathedra) at the Guardian Angel Cathedral.

Lady Luck Hotel & Casino

The Lady Luck is a hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been closed since 2006, and is scheduled to reopen in 2013 with a new name, the Downtown Grand. It is owned by Fifth Street Gaming, who also own The Silver Nugget. Interior spaces have been largely demolished in preparation for renovations.

California Hotel and Casino

The California Hotel and Casino, also known as The Cal opened in 1975 at a cost of $10 million with a hotel and casino located in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada near the Fremont Street Experience. When it opened it had 325 rooms which has since been expanded to 781. The California has been owned by Boyd Gaming since it was built by Sam Boyd. After facing slow business initially, Boyd soon began focusing on the Hawaiian market, offering Hawaiian food and encouraging a more casual atmosphere.
