New Cornelia mine
The New Cornelia mine is a currently inactive open-pit copper mine in Pima County, Arizona, United States. It was the only productive mine in the Ajo mining district, and is located just outside the town of Ajo, which was built as a company town to serve the New Cornelia miners. Pinnacle Peak is a granite summit located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The peak rises 600 feet from the valley floor, coming to an elevation of 3171 feet. It is located within the 150-acre Pinnacle Peak Park, operated by the City of Scottsdale Park District. Part of the Sonoran Desert, the park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including saguaro cacti and gila monsters. Hikers utilize a 1.75 mile trail to explore the area, though rock climbing is needed to reach the summit.

Eric Marcus Municipal Airport is a county-owned, public-use airport in Pima County, Arizona, United States. It is located five nautical miles (9 km) north of the central business district of Ajo and is about 82 miles southwest of Phoenix. The airport was renamed on February 11, 2006; it was formerly known as Ajo Municipal Airport. The airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, which categorizes it as a general aviation facility.
