Grand Canyon West Airport is a public airport located 60 miles (97 km) northwest of the central business district of Peach Springs, in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. This particular location is known as Grand Canyon West. It is owned and operated by the Hualapai tribe and situated on the Hualapai Indian Reservation. As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 25,945 commercial passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2005 and 66,731 enplanements in 2006.

Grand Canyon Skywalk
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. USGS topographic maps show the elevation at the Skywalk's location as 4,770 ft and the elevation of the Colorado River in the base of the canyon as 1,160 ft, and they show that the height of the precisely vertical drop directly under the skywalk is between 500 ft and 800 ft .
