South Phoenix, also known as the South Mountain Village, South Mountain District or SoMo, or simply as "the Southside" to its residents, is a neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. It has the boundaries of 27th Avenue to the west, 48th Sreet to the east, the Salt River to the north and South Mountain Park to the south. Major arterial east-west streets include Broadway Road, Southern Avenue, and Baseline Road, all of which connect South Phoenix with the suburb of Tempe.

Chase Field

Chase Field is a stadium located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona and is the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. It opened in 1998, in time for the Diamondbacks' first game as an expansion team. Chase Field was also the first stadium built in the United States with a retractable roof.

US Airways Center

US Airways Center (formerly America West Arena) is a sports and entertainment arena located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It opened in 1992, and is the home of the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association and the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association.
