Lamar High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Lamar, Arkansas, United States. The school provides secondary education for students in grades 7 through 12. It is one of two public high schools in Johnson County. It is the sole high school administered by the Lamar School District with Lamar Middle School serving as its main feeder school.

Lamar is a city in Johnson County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,415 at the 2000 census. William Lee Cazort, the youngest ever Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives and youngest ever President of the Arkansas State Senate, attended public school in Lamar before moving to Fort Smith.

Augsburg, Arkansas

Augsburg is a small unincorporated community in Pope County, Arkansas, United States. In 1883, the first German-speaking Lutheran families began arriving in Pope County, 15 miles northwest of Russellville. Augsburg was named for the German city of Augsburg. In 1884, they built their first church, Zion Lutheran Church. In 1907, it burned and a new one was built which also burned in 1978, and replaced in 1979-80. Rev. F. W. Herzberger was the first Pastor and Rev. Thom Lasko is the current Pastor.
