Okolona, Arkansas

Okolona is a town in Clark County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 160 at the 2000 census. The Battle of Elkin's Ferry of the Civil War occurred here between April 3–4, 1864, as a part of the Camden Expedition. Union forces, led by Maj. Gen. Fred Steele, sought to ford the Little Missouri River, as the local roads were impassable. The force reached Elkin's Ferry before the Confederate cavalry brigades, led by Brig. Gen. John S. Marmaduke, and the Confederates were defeated.

Delight, Arkansas

Delight is a town in Pike County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 279 at the 2010 census. It is the birthplace of country musician Glen Campbell, though the actual early home of the Country Music Hall of Fame inductee was in nearby Billstown, which Campbell describes as a "suburb" of Delight (and too small for most maps). Delight is also the home of former Arkansas State Auditor and Treasurer Gus Wingfield (1995–2007), and the actor and singer Scott Reeves.

Graysonia, Arkansas

Graysonia was once a boomtown in Clark County, Arkansas, United States, but has since become a ghost town. It is located on a dirt road in what is now known locally as "the middle of nowhere", halfway between Arkadelphia and Alpine. There are no populated communities in its vicinity and only a few scattered residences within a few miles of the former town's location. In the early 20th century, Graysonia was a main hub for the local timber industry.
