KTHS (1480 AM, "96.9 The Legend") is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Berryville, Arkansas, USA, the station is currently owned by Carroll County Broadcasting. On August 2, 2011 KTHS changed their format from sports to bluegrass, branded as "96.9 The Mountain" (also broadcasts on FM translator K245BJ 96.9 FM). On February 19, 2013 KTHS changed their format to classic hits, branded as "96.9 The Legend".

Carroll County, Arkansas

Carroll County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2010 census, the population was 27,446. The county has two county seats, Berryville and Eureka Springs. Carroll County is Arkansas's 26th county, formed on November 1, 1833, and named after Charles Carroll of Carrollton, who had died in 1832 and was the last survivor of those who had signed the United States Declaration of Independence.
