Alma is a city in Crawford County located in the western part of U.S. state of Arkansas, along I-40 about 13 miles from the Oklahoma border. Alma's population is 4,734, making it the sixth largest city in the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. Alma was incorporated in 1874.

Alma High School (Alma, Nebraska)

Alma High School is a high school in Alma, Nebraska. It is a public junior-senior high school, built in 1939, that has a maximum capacity of 275 students. Its mascot is the Cardinals. Franklin County, Arkansas

Franklin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2010, the population was 18,125. The county has two county seats, Charleston and Ozark. Franklin County was formed on December 19, 1837, and named for Benjamin Franklin, American statesman. To the north of the Arkansas River, which bisects Franklin County, the county is wet and alcohol is sold in liquor stores, bars and local vineyards.
