Cloverdale Municipal Airport is a public airport located three miles (4.8 km) southeast of Cloverdale, serving Sonoma County, California, USA. The airport is mostly used for general aviation. There are additional activities on the airport: Skydiving, ultralight and experimental activities; it is home to Quality Sport Planes, the western representative for Zenith Aircraft Company since 2005.

Lake Sonoma

Lake Sonoma is a reservoir west of Healdsburg in northern Sonoma County, California, U.S.A. , created by the construction of Warm Springs Dam. Access from U.S. Route 101 is by way of Dry Creek Road from Healdsburg. The lake provides water for countywide growth and development, and for recreation. At full capacity, it has 50 miles of shoreline, a surface area of more than 2,700 acres, and holds 381,000 acre feet of water.

Rockpile AVA

Rockpile AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in Sonoma County, California, northwest of the town of Healdsburg. Established on February 28, 2002, Rockpile AVA was Sonoma County's twelfth designated wine appellation. The wine region consists of approximately 15,400 acres in northwestern Sonoma County. All of the AVA has an elevation in excess of 800 feet above sea level. Eleven vineyards are currently located within the AVA and there are approximately 160 acres of planted wine grapes.

Alexander Valley AVA

The Alexander Valley is a Californian American Viticultural Area (AVA) just north of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. It is home to many wineries and vineyards, as well as the city of Cloverdale. It is the largest and most fully planted wine region in Sonoma. Highway 101 runs through the valley, and the Russian River flows down the valley, surrounded by vineyards on both sides. From the higher elevations of the valley rim, there is view as far south as Taylor Mountain and Sonoma Mountain.
