Rancho Lupyomi (also called "Laguna de Lup Yomi") was a Mexican land grant in present day Lake County, California given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Salvador Vallejo and his brother Juan Antonio Vallejo. Rancho Lupyomi encompassed present day Clearlake. Rancho Lupyomi was one of three land grants in Lake County. Mount Konocti /kɵˈnɒktaɪ/ is a volcano in Lake County, California on the south shore of Clear Lake. At 4,305 feet, it is the second highest peak in the Clear Lake Volcanic Field, which consists of numerous volcanic domes and cones ranging from 10,000 to 2.1 million years old.

Clear Lake Volcanic Field
The Clear Lake Volcanic Field is a volcanic field beside Clear Lake in California's northern Coast Ranges. The site of late-Pliocene to early Holocene activity, the volcanic field consists of lava domes, cinder cones, and maars with eruptive products varying from basalt to rhyolite. Cobb Mountain and Mount Konocti are the two highest peaks in the volcanic field, at 4,724 feet and 4,285 feet respectively.
