Donnells Dam

Donnells Dam (National ID # CA00264) is a dam in Tuolumne County, California. The concrete arch dam was constructed in 1958, with a height of 317 feet, and a length of 750 feet at its crest. It impounds the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River for hydroelectric power, part of the Stanislaus River Tri-Dam project cooperatively owned by the Oakdale Irrigation District and the South San Joaquin Irrigation District. The site is surrounded by the Stanislaus National Forest.

California's 4th congressional district

California's 4th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California. Tom McClintock, a Republican, has represented the district since January 2009. Currently, the 4th district encompasses the Sierras from Truckee to the Sequoia National Forest. It consists of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Mariposa, and Tuolumne counties plus portions of Fresno, Madera, Nevada, and Placer counties.

New Spicer Meadow Reservoir

New Spicer Meadow Reservoir is a reservoir in Stanislaus National Forest in the Sierra Nevada, in Tuolumne County, near the Alpine County line, at an elevation of 6,621 feet . The 189,000 acre foot reservoir is formed by New Spicer Meadow Dam on Highland Creek, a tributary of the Stanislaus River. The 265-foot tall dam is composed of rock-fill and was completed in 1989.
